That particular sailing was unique, as Michael Krafft was aboard and he decided at last moment to join the tall ships race in Genoa, Italy. It was such a fantastic voyage that I returned in 1998 with Captain Lickfett in the Greek Islands, again in 1999, and once more with him in 1999 in Thailand for Christmas. We have kept in contact all these years (he even visited me here in San Jose, CA, many years ago) and I emailed him last month to let him know we will be joining you on the Star Flyer August 2-9 in the Society Islands next month. Gerhard wrote that you are a wonderful man, excellent Captain, and that he helped refine your expert skills in maneuvers on the ship! I sailed on the Royal Clipper in 2003 and 2005, and that was wonderful, but am looking forward to being back on the Flyer and meeting you. My husband, Todd, has only sailed on the Royal Clipper and is also excited to be on the Flyer in August. We will see you soon!
