Travel writer Geoff Edwards snapped these amazing photos on his Star Clippers cruise. He took the shore excursion in Taormina, Sicily, to Mount Etna and was able to climb the still-active volcano. Mount Etna is one of the most active volcanoes in the world and is in an almost constant state of eruption. It also is believed to be the world’s oldest active volcano.
According to Geoff, who has traveled the word, it was “the most memorable tour I have experienced.”
